Sapna Hornyak brings more than 20 years of clinical research experience in both industry and academic settings to her role as CEO of Avania. She has supported research across a broad range of therapeutic areas throughout the entire study life cycle, most recently while serving in executive roles at Chiltern and Theorem Clinical Research. Hornyak earned a bachelor’s degree in biology, an MBA, and a master’s in the management of information systems, all from the University of Pittsburgh. She also holds a master’s in biomedical diagnostics from Arizona State University.
